How we use browser data
Made the Papers is operated by Hidden Lens History. Your progress, first results, and streak are stored in your browser so the game works across visits. We also remember your cookie choice for up to 180 days. You can change it using Cookie settings at any time.
With Analytics enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 and save campaign labels from links in your browser for up to 90 days after a tagged visit. Events may include edition, score, play mode, campaign labels, and a browser identifier. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled.
With Marketing enabled, Meta Pixel receives page views and limited game activity, such as starts, completions, and shares, alongside browser identifiers. Meta may match this activity to Facebook or Instagram accounts for advertising audiences and measurement. We do not send your email or game answers to Google or Meta.
The reminder form is separate: if you choose to subscribe, your email, permission, and signup date are saved in Wix. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent subscribing or playing.
Tracking starts after you enable its category. Changing your choice stops future activity from being sent by our event hooks; it does not erase data already received by Google or Meta. Browser blocking can also prevent tracking.
